I recently saw someone's segmented pens. I was stunned, and drawn in at the same time. It took pen turning to a whole new level for me. I thought, humm I need to figure out how to do that.
Among the several exotic samples I saw, were very thin pieces, like veneer on edge! cut at angles dividing two different woods. I think this person is so creative, he may have come up with these designs himself. Thus, he wasn't to really ready to share. There may have been more details than he wanted to get into:confused:
Meanwhile, I'm going to contiue my search at SMC. Does anyone know of some plans or drawing of segmented pen plans to show how to get started with cutting the blanks? Any ideas welcomed.
