Yessir, it's olive wood... of the Holy Land (Bethleham olive woods) variety.

The finish is Micromesh to 12000, 2 coats of med. CA glue, 2 coats of mylands, then 1 coat of HUT gloss wax....

Thanks guys, this is the first turning I've done in about 4 months, nice to get back to spinny stuff...
