New Box

:cool: I just finished this veneer box. I went to a class by Steve Wargo which was set up by our club, Northeast Ohio Woodworkers' Guild. Once I got home I had to make something to keep the idea in my head. The box is 5 by 8 inches and built over 1/2 inch plywood. I used Titebond glue and screws with a satin varnish. The hardware has a wrought iron look.:)

Very nice. The straight grain, along with that handle makes for some nice clean lines. I like the softness to all the edges also.

Very nice. Is the veneer butted at the edges, or bent around the edges? Can't tell for sure from the pics.
