And this is the results. Some might remember a bowl I made about a year from the rest of this piece.
Not only winged, but also Natural Edged!

Tried something new this time, Travis. Satin Gel Varnish. Can't use it as friction polish and it has to dry at least overnight. I'm a little too impatient for that, but for a satin look, I like it.

PS: Mark. Can't pair it up. Sold the bowl. The wood is Larve infested, spalted Ash.

Bruce, that is a very pretty plate. That wood speaks volumes, and I think you've done it more than justice.
