'Can't answer your poll 'cause there is no information about what you want to spray. If it's latex, airless...

Same for the closet. Your rough opening is dependent on the door you choose to install.

Bifolds are different than regular entry doors.
Entry doors rough opening is usually 1/2" on the side, 1/2" or so on top.
