Here is some wood I got after hearing some chainsaws in the neighborhood.

It is 11" x 3" and is finished with the Beall buff. Not fancy but lots of curl.

That's a very nice looking bowl. It's a shame more of the curly didn't show up on the inside. It looks (and pictures of course can be deceiving) like you barely cut into it from the top. Still, amazing figure and nice balanced bowl and shape.

That is truly some awesome curl in that piece, and I agree with Raymond on the balance. Isn't it amazing how attuned to the sound of chainsaws turners become? :)
