Why make a request for an attaboy formal? Sorry to rain on the poll but I think this is a perfect place to apply the KISS principle. People post items here and get "I like that. That's a cool piece. Thanks for sharing." It's recognition of what they did at the lathe last night. If they truly want a critique, it's really simple to just type, "I truly want a critique. Tear it up please."

There's not a thread that goes through here that doesn't get 60 or 70 people looking at it and at least a few responses. It's easiest just to post the message as usual and if you want an in depth critique, ask for it. Otherwise people can give their opinion as they see fit. If you formalize the process, I think you're going to stifle the flow of people posting their work. Just my .02 though.

Ditto for me. I don't ever ask for a atta boy. If I want a critique I will ask for it.
