My wife and I are at the point where we are deciding on hardware for our kitchen project and the hinges in particular (yes, I am STILL working on the cabinets - getting closer by the day though).

Can anyone provide a link to a kitchen cabinet with an exposed hinge? Wife is having a tough time visualizing what I am talking about. I have looked a bit and can't seem to find a good one. I can find a picture of the hinge itself but not one in-situ.

Thanks in advance for your time . . .

Larry

Crown Point uses all flush inset doors with exposed hinges. Most overlay cabs now have concealed hinges.

Thanks Alan. I am building overlay doors and am having trouble finding a picture (which I guess should tell me something about my hinge choice). I would have loved to have done inset doors but I was a little unsure of my ability to pull it off well at the time.

Thanks for the link though - they do nice work.

If not that page, I'm sure you can find a different hinge in outwater's catalog... their catalog is extensive.

As far as buying them though, you can find them at any bigbox or hardware store.

Hope that helps!

Thanks to all. I just got off the phone with her and (based on the pics I sent from the site Alan mentions) it seems she does not want to see even a hint of the hinge. Certainly makes the choice easy.

Thanks again for your time . . .
