Im new to the board and plan on spending lots of time here. I just started getting into woodworking and im slowly acquiring some tools. I have some smaller hand tools, but just bought a nice table saw from sears yesterday. Looks like a nice forum!

Robert, I wish this place were around when I started to pick up the hobby! Great people, great advice and great fun. Come back often and do NOT be afraid of asking what you may think is a silly question! The worse that can happen around here is you may get a silly answer. Welcome aboard.

Robert,

Glad to have you at the "Creek". You'll have to be careful. Hanging out at the "Creek" is highly additive.

Robert,
Welcome...but be prepared. This place is VERY addicting and you'll be sucked into the void of tool buying and even sometimes using them.

So whats your next purchase...ahhh...I mean project?

My first project im sure to need help on. Building a new cabinet for the bathroom. I discovered it had a leak yesterday, turns out it has been leaking for about two weeks. Never noticed it since I dont use that bathroom. The whole thing is soaked (and its particle board). I went to lowes to price a new one and there about $80 and up. So im going to attempt to just build it myself for half that. Luckily the doors werent ruined so I can reuse them. I have the original cabinet still to use as a template. I am in the market now to find a good used dado blade!

Nice to see a local on the board Terry! Im actually in Broken Arrow so I probably not too far from you.

Robert,

Its actually me that lives in Broken Arrow, Terry is in Springdale, which is almost a suburb of Tulsa and since we are both ugly, I can see how you would get us confused. Actually, you can't get us much more confused than we already are. :D

If you get into something and have questions drop me an email at blasley@cox.net and I'll send you my phone number. BTW, I'm in the 111th and Elm area.
