Hi,
This may be a little off topic but...
I made a 37" x 72" board and batten (exterior) door for my Father-in-laws barn, and will hang it this coming weekend. It's replacing the original from 1936 that was rotted out by 1985.
The hinges are galvanized strap hinges 8" long, what size screw is usually used? #12? #14? should I bolt through the door? I can only screw into the door casing so I'm thinking #14 x 3-12"
I appreciate any help! I'm lost.
