Hi all, this is my first post, I'm a "developing" woodworker, trying to get better while keeping all my digits attached.

I have a Dewalt benchtop saw, I'm happy with it, especially since I built Norm's extension top, but I HATE the factory supplied splitter/guard etc. I can't find any aftermarket substitutes, anyone have any leads

Thanks
Jay

I've got the same saw. I removed the stock splitter/guard and replaced it with a shopmade insert with an attached splitter. Mine was just a 10 minute special but some of the people here have made some really nice insert/splitters. You still need the stock insert for bevel cuts though.

Jay,

I can't help you with splitters or guards, but welcome to the "Creek".
I know you will enjoy hanging out here.
