I killed it as soon as I saw the TS. I don't need to see that kind of thing.

Wonder if this is an safety-censored outtake from NYW??? ;) Poor Norm. He had to stay up all night to cram 5 episodes in before his vacation, and then we bash his safety technique. :D

I just had lunch and this was the wrong thing to view. At the first frame I thought I was going to get sick to my stomach.... and I almost did.

I definitely flinched. Wow, that's just crazy....

Not sure I'd want to lose my finger trimming a cheap piece of bowed plywood.

I initially thought it was a SawStop demo, then realized it's just an idiot with a tablesaw. Glad to see it was bloodless (at least the part shown in the video). I can only imagine how the idjit finished the cut. "Push stick? Who needs a push stick? The good Lord gave me ten of 'em right here on the ends of my arms."

What's equally appalling is the fact that this video appears to be a sample from a company that sells video clips (stock footage of everyday stuff). If this is the example they're using to illustrate table saw use, I shudder to think how many people might think it's accepted technique.

Yeah, it almost looks like it was installed while the blade was spinning. By a blind guy. With a nervous twitch.

There are much better ways to manicure your finger nails.

I've been witnessing real life similar TS use. Our carpenters (doing a remodel of the homestead) never have push stick, eye protection, dust collection or hearing protection. The finish carpenter was here today. He doesn't wear glasses so while cutting a 1/2 in. strip off of stock he closes his eyes. When there is about a foot left for the cut, he scoots around (TS is on the floor) to the outfeed side and pulls!

I find it hard to watch !!
