You people are just great and I am sure glad I found this site.

Here is are a few pictures of my lumber rack and clamping rack I
weld up not to long ago. The lumber rack is made from 2 x 3 inch
box beam with 5 standards 2 feet apart and will hold just over 2400
bd. ft.

The clamping rack was my own design and has 4 tiers with twenty
36" bar clamps. It can handle panels up to 8 feet long. Works great!

Fantastic panel station. What is that floor? The shop looks so clean, is that a special floor that's easy to sweep up?

I understand the everything on the rack except the horizontal members that accept the angle welded to the end of the I-beam clamp. I can't tell what the cross section of that member looks like.

Look at the third picture, it looks to be a piece of angle iron space slight behind a piece of flat stock, or another angle iron.

"Dave", you sure have some impressive stuff in an even more impressive shop! Great concept on the clamping rack...I think you have the potential of a marketable item there! Actually looks fairly simple to put together but a brilliant idea!
