Due to a mis-calculation, I need to come up with some way to increase the distance between the table and upper arm on my scroll saw, for a current project. One solution may be to use a blade that is at least 5 1/2" long rather then the normal 5".
Anyone know if they exist?
Thanks, Perry

I don't know how fine a cut you need, but I think that a coping saw blade would give you enough length. Or else a cut up 1/16th" band saw blade.

Perry,
I have a very old scroll saw that requires 6" blades. I looked all over and ended up using couping saw blades then I was wandering around sears and found that they carry the 6" blades for scroll saws.
