It was rough turning with a bit of punky wood in it but turned out nice. It finished up at 7-1/2" x 1-1/2" and has watco danish finish and was buffed when dry.

Beautiful shape and what an impressive piece of wood. I like the hefty look. Your turnings have moved from fantastic to awesome Dick.

Nice plate...that wood has a little of everything in it. Your making some of us look like slackers for sure...

Keith he has to turn that fast. You saw his wood stash. I commented to Dick that that was a life time supply for me...his reply.."Oh this, I will be done with this in a few months." Looks like he will be.
