Last week I had a thread on here where I was trying to laminate the top of my out feed table and effectively destroyed a piece of Laminate by chipping it. I got a real good response and plenty of advice, so this morning I took a piece of the material that was left and laminated the top of my new Drill Press Cabinet. It was cut with a 7 1/4" blade and a Circular Saw. Just laid the material over a couple of 2X4's. The blade was an inexpensive ($9) plastic laminate blade from HD. Edge was routed with a flush trim router bit and I think it would have looked even nicer with a regular laminate bit. I set my PC Router on 23,000 rpm and there was no chipping.
Thanks to everyone for their advice and I will tackle the out feed table when I get another 4X8 sheet of laminate.
