Can you tell I got some lathe time in this weekend:D
A pair of Havana, 10K kits, from CSUSA. Wood is X-cut Olive and X-cut canarywood (Corey has some of this too!). finish is lacquer and wax. I like this kit but it may be on the "large" size for most (except for Shaq)!

Excellent Barry! Nice job on those. Those are some big kits! That canary wood is beautiful, my problem is I can't decide on what kit to make with the first one.

Very nice work. I have done only one Havanna. It was a Little Havana fountain pen. I found the tenon a bit tricky to turn since the directions are unclear as to size where it mates with the center band. You nailed it.

Thanks for the compliments! And yes, that olivewood smells GREAT!!!
No snow yet (end of the month in the mountains:D ).
And the tenon on these are a piece of cake - the last 1/8" on the short tube. i took an old beat up wood chisel that happened to be 1/8" thick, spent a couple minutes on the grinder and.....pen tenon cutter....
And Corey - turn one of your world famous cigar pens with the canarywood !!!!

Ok buddy that is what I will do! I have 4 pens cut and drilled and mounted for turning during my turnathon next weekend. After that I will do a platinum cigar with Barry's special canarywood! World famous ??? I don't tink so but thanks! :)
