In Corel 12 I am using this shape to vector cut a wood plaque for an inlay. If you zoom in on the line and try node edit you will see two lines. This happens alot sooo.. How do I just get to 1 line? Why does it happen?

I know keep clicking on the nodes for one line and delete as i go but that takes a long time.

This drawing has two lines by design. You can have a fill and a double outline if you wanted. It was probably designed for a different purpose. Such as a military shield.

But to answer your question select the item and go to "arrange", break curve apart, then delete the part you don't want.

May I also suggest when you attach drawings in Corel that you save them first as a version 11 for example, as not too many people have X3 yet.

Wow- Perfect answer in 20 minutes.

That worked great and will save lotza time.

BTW I had trouble attaching the .cdr file but that was Corel V12.
