Ok, I wimped out on the big one: started it as a NE, but didn't like how it looked with the bark gone, so took it down to a regular bowl shape, 7"x3":

Last time I saw anything with markings like this, it had a saddle on it. :p

The bowl I posted earlier was from a rectangular piece...this is from the chunk that was left over when I squared it up, 2-3/4"x2-1/2":

That turned out real nice Lee. The first one has a lot more dark wood in it that what I've seen out of that tree so far. Nice little bowl/vase/cup thing too.
