I posted on another board, but I figured I'd go ahead and post it on the creek to celebrate it being back up and running. The rocker is made out of solid walnut. The finish is shellac and lacquer rubbed and waxed. It was built for a petite woman. It fits her like a glove. I teach classes on how to make these through my wwing school and usually work on one along with the students to show various parts of the shaping process.

The next rocker I'll be making is going to be made out of some really nice figured cherry. After that I've got claro walnut. :)
Thanks for looking,
John
