Can anyone point me in the right direction. I'm putting together a package for an outfitting/guide service. Looking to laser some logos onto the blades as an appreciation gift...something like a 4 1/2" folding buck. Any suggestions where to get these in quantity?

Thanks in advance.

Daryl,

If you have lotsa money!!

I do however recommend a good knife that will be used for the particular application ie; bird cleaning, filletting etc. Also, not all knives that are "good" are expensive! Let's see some pic's.

Daryl,
You didn't mention a price point. But in the 50-99 dollar range I kinda like this one http://spyderco.com/catalog/details.php?product=178 . It is US made, and in my opinion the black blade looks nice lased. Call the spyderco store at 800-828-1925 and ask for Cody, he is a great guy, and tell him Ian from the Army sent you. Spyderco has a ULS (X-660 I think) in house so Cody may also be able to get you some setup data.

Just some thoughts,
Ian

Daryl and all,
I highly recommend you check out http://store.irawoodinc.com/index.html You can get Buck 110 w/ leather seath for 26.00 ea!!! I challenge anyone to beat those prices. The handle or the blade AND the seath all look marvelous when engraved with the laser. I like to get the persons signature and put it on the wood handle and gold fill.

Thanks for the replies. The customer is currently making the choice. My next step is to educate myself on the marking process.

Thanks again
