Hi
Does anybody have any experience with adding gold leaf to glass, or know where to go to get information?
I'd like to be able to offer a gold rim to custom laser-engraved wine glasses, to kick it up a notch like the cook on TV says
Thanks!

I have done it, mostly on the glass doors of attorneys' offices. Of course I cheat since I have a vinyl plotter. I cut a stencil with the letters removed,
then go out and clean the glass with alcohol. After applying the stencil I'll
apply a clear oil based size, the hard part is timing because you have to wait until it's perfectly tacky (may take 8-10 hours depending on type used). Then you apply the leaf, rub it down, and brush some clear over it
(optional, but I do it because there's usually lobby traffic and people may pick at it). Normally I use 23 KT patent leaf, it's easier since it's on a transfer paper.
