Woodworking Clubs

I am a woodworker that does a little woodturning. There are certainly more woodworkers in the world than woodturners million times over. I am always amased at how organized the turners are. They have there national presence AAW with 200 something chapters with monthly meetings,national and regional shows with classes,galleries, etc. Is this happening with woodworkers,furniture makers and I just am unaware of it?

Henry... where are you located? The Guild of New Hampshire Woodworkers is a very active group and we don't restrict membership to just NH... we have members from MA, ME, VT, and others....
