These are my first shot at using Corian. They are 8x8 and 0.250 thick.

Those are very nice.
Did you mask several times for the different colored paint?

Yes, a new mask for each color.

What kind of paint did you use? How did you make them 1/4", re-saw?

Nice work!

Paint used was Krylon spray.

No resaw - some colors of Corian are available in 0.250 thickness.

Raster engraved at 15 speed 100 power 2 passes. 35 watt Epilog

As you might guess I live and golf in a community called Suntree.

I was concerned about the sun to tree mask and paint line. The tree was engraved and painted then the sun. It aligned and came out fine. No engraving line visible between the gold and red.

Pete-

After you ran the two passes what kind of depth did you get? Does the paint fill it back to level or is there still a depression?

Each pass is maybe 0.005 - 0.010 I cleaned the dust off before the second pass. The paint ( 3 thin spray coats ) does not bring it back to flush. In fact the paint changes the depth very little. The thickness of the paint is just barely noticeable.

Thanks Pete... Sounds like a nice project... Hope the golf course is treating you well. If not in compensation for your work at least the golf gods should cut a stroke or two for you!!!!
