I changed the motor in my Bandsaw. I went from 1725 rpm to 3450 rpm. So now I need a bigger driven pully. My old set up was a 2.75" drive pulley and a 3.75" driven pulley. I am guessing that an approxmataly 8" driven pulley should get in the neighbor hood that I am looking for. My belt is a type A or 4L I think. The sheave that is on my new motor is adjustable but seems to be pretty colse to my old motor at 2.75 at its smallest. So i thought it would be a safe play to go a little bigger on the driven pulley and adjust the drive pulley if needed. Does that make sense???
I need a 1 1/8" bore. So if anyone knows about a a pulley supplier that I get one that from that won't cost an arm and a leg let me know.
