My 1/2 of a two car garage can get tight on space when using it for a woodworking shop.

So after posting a question on a router table vs. table saw extension, and carefully weighing all opinions:D......... I have decided to build a router table. I am also wanting a table for my miter saw. My idea is to merge the two. What I have in mind is to combine Norms router table with the Shop Notes 82 miter station (sort of). Here is a top view followed by a front elevation of the carcass.

I will put a lift on the router. If I have to cut any long stock w/the miter saw I can simply push the fence for the router table out of the way (behind miter saws fence). The major drawback I see is if I make a mistake and have to set the router up again after tearing down the set up. Does any one see any major (or minor) flaws with my idea?
