I got a job to make 150 name plates out of red anodized aluminum. What is the best way to have them cut to size? They are an odd size 3/4 x 2 3/4. Any help will sure be great.

If you don't have a metal shear and a corner rounder I would recommend going to Johnson Plastics and let them cut the order for you.

Bill,

Are you anywhere near a heating and A/C shop? The have the big hydraulic guillotine shears there, I use one up the road to cut aluminum all the time. Usually I'll pay the minimum shop charge of $8, probably more though for $150. If there's no protective film on the material I'll add transfer tape first so that it doesn't get scratched or greasy.
