I was wondering, for those of you with experiance, what shop has the best selection of quality weather gauges? I've found a bunch on the web, but they all seem to carry the same small collection of gauges that appear to be so-so quality. I was hoping to find some brushed nickel or chrome gauges, but have come up empty. As always your help and comments are appreciated.

Cheers,
Nick

I've had great luck with Clockparts.com. Great prices and selection.

Those look like the same instruments as carried by Klockit. http://www.klockit.com/ Prices seem about the same also. Another approach is to go to one of the big box stores and buy a ready made weather station. They are made with cheap materials but the intruments as either the same as or very similar to what you can buy from the catalogs. Big difference is price. A ready made is about $15.00 with three instruments. Take it apart, throw away the mounting and make your own. Savings is often greater than 50%.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions.

Per, I never knew Lee Valley sold such parts. I've been eyeing their planes, but was unaware of them as being such a resource for other items. Their aluminum bezel gauges are exactly what I'm in the market for!
