Hi all, haven't been here for a bit but I thought you might be able to help me with any experience you might have had with one of these:

This is the Alisam Sharpening sled. Just got hold of one to try out and I was wondering what you folks thought of it as it is made on your side of the pond.

I saw a review recently of several sharpening jigs and this one did not do as well as some of the others, as I remember it. Let us know what you think.

No, but thank you for the link. I really like the indexing system for the lathe. None of my lathes are indexable and it is useful for fluting posts and balusters.
