I have the Rikon mini. I need a chuck. I want the chuck to take jaws that will not mar the work. AFAIK this doesn't seem to be easy to find on the sites of the various makers of chucks(Teknatool, nova). Oneway has one.
Do Nova and teknatool not makes jaws of this nature? or does this type of jaw not work as advertised.
What would be the best chuck from these 3 makers that would work on a rikon mini? I dont care about the price because all 3 makers are pretty close on price for the most part. I'm not gonna get one over the other just to save $30.
Your experienced input would be appreciated.
Thanks!

I think you'll find that any of the chucks you mentioned are good quality. And they all probably have smooth jaws available. But in the long run you'll want and need a couple sets of jaws to grip tight, to grip smooth, to grip big and small. I like the Oneway Talon best of all I've used.

You could contemplate buying a Vicamac chuk. Yhey all come with smooth jaws.
