Well turned a curly maple/walnut bowl last night. was working on thin but here it an example for you. Dark because I wanted to highlight the part that was thin. It is the bowl on the end of my halogen flashlight.

Heck I've done that.............but mine always seem to have a few "Bright" spots..............aka Holes in them.........:o

Looks good, but now can we please see a pic with the lights on ;) :D

And here I thought you may have been giving us the inside scoop on some new-fangled, miracle-working diet!!! :rolleyes:

Yup, that would constitute it being thin but, I'm with Stu...Pics of the thing with the lights "ON"!!! :D :cool:

Ok ok here is it. plus a small rice bowl I made. The new one is not yet sanded/finished. I've been making these as potpourri bowls. Well except forthe lil one. More of a rice bowl.

Keith those bowls are beauties. Nice job. I do like the contrasting woods.
