Finished Stock & Dado Plane

Hi All,
If I plan on working with 1" stock, should I go with a .75" dado plane to make dados, or one slightly slimmer to account for smoothing?
I'm saying this as a .75" one is in the mail, hoping that I didn't get the wrong width :confused:

Unlike conventional sheet goods, 3/4" stock is generally (supplier dependant) oversized. You’ll be fine.
