Nice OP, KS (Kansas side of KC) is 6th on the list, which is where I work. I can contest there is a bunch of construction going on.

I lived in the top two cities at one time or another:

Fort Collins, CO: spent 4 years there attending Colorado State University
Naperville, IL: spent 1 year there working after high-school

The trouble with these lists is that people read them and move there and there goes the quality of life.

The folks down here say that Cary stands for Concentrated Area of Relocated Yankees.:D :D

I work in Sugarland, TX (#3) and live 15 miles away. I can attest to the number of restaurants (3049). I could go out every day for lunch for years and never hit every one. On the other hand, it doesn't rate so well on ski resorts:D :D
