I had a couple of firsts on this project, my first turned box and the first time I turned and used a jam chuck. Both came out fair. The wood for the box I thought originally was Maple but after closer inspection I believe it is Dogwood has some nice figure in it and several inclusions, I appoligize for the sorry pictures best I can do (crappy camera).

I forgot to mention that it stands at 2 and 7/8 inches high and is 2 and1/16 across the bottom. inside is finished with mineral and beeswax outside with Mylands and Ren wax.
