Have any you guys out there used fiddleback Anigre before? Comments
and experience working with it would be appreciated. Also would like
to know where a good source for it would be. I am most likely looking
for 4/4 or 5/4 stock.

I've got several large 8/4 pieces of fiddleback. I've yet to figure out what to make. I've been thinking about sawing, or having it sawn, into veneer. It's really pretty wood.

I have used it as a solid wood and as a veneer....beautiful figure....shapes and planes well....some sanding may be required...takes finish well including oil. I have purchased it from Austin and Strata
