Attached are a couple of photos of two of our residents. The little one with my wife is Mariah is probably two months old and just came to us about a week ago when I was in the States. The photo was taken last night up town at the restaurant when celibrating my wifes birthday. The adult is Penelope and she has been with us a couple of years and doesnt want to leave. We released her at a resort over a year ago and she refused to stay. She would not eat and just sulked so we brought her back and she is fine. These are Wooly monkeys. They are so much like a human it is scary. This is one of the better parts of our life helping these little creatures.

Jim, those are really cute critters! Now, the big question is: Have you taught Penelope how to clean up after you at the lathe or fetch you a cold beer??? :D Now that would be really cool! :D

John: It would be difficult as monkeys love beer . The jungle lodges always have trouble with the monkeys stealing drinks "and everything else" from the tourists. A freind who has a lodge lost two monkeys of this same species when they got in the bar and stole a bottle of whisky. They promptly climbed a tree with it and drank the whole thing and died from it. They were the welcoming commitee for the lodge. When a boat arrived with tourists they would go down to meet it and take the hands of the first out of the boat and escort them to reception. A monkey is the only animal on earth that can destroy an empty room.
