finish applied. Mylands buffed out. Not sure why the line on there only in reflections. Perhaps not even application of finish. Was close to the chuck

You did a good job, Keith. That's a pretty piece of wood and it looks like the lid fits nicely. The lines look similar to some I can see in the little bowl I posted pics of last night. Maybe you and I both need better lighting at the lathe. :) It sure can be hard to see the little sanding lines in light-colored wood. Until you hit them with a camera flash, that is. :p
