LOML asked for a present for a teacher friend that she works with. So I turned this beech bowl from a blank that Robert Mickley gave me. It was spalted a little. Finish is just BOL and wax.

You know, John, NOT to take anything away from your excellant work, This piece got me to thinking.
I'm not sure that I have ever seen a piece of wood shown here that didn't show natural beauty. What a shame that so much of it is burned up in fireplaces.
Another lovely piece.
