The Lightning bowl...

This was made from the Maple that got hit by lightning a few months ago. It was my neighbors (3 houses away) and he hasn't a clue I made it for him....:D

It's 9 1/4"x2 1/2"x1/4" thick....finished with 2 coats gel poly and buffed.

That's a goodun Joe. Great form and finish I like the wood too. I cut up some maple this weekend and sealed it hope mine comes out half a nice.
