Would some of you post some photos please of your unturned blanks with spalting ......so a novice might have a chance to see what it looks like before it goes on the lathe?

Thanks....Ken who wants to start spalting..............

finish being applied today

All I did was throw the whole 5 foot long log( no anchor seal) in my garage last Novemeber and then I cut it up about a month ago. It was green when I put it in the garge still had leaves on it. It is maple. It was a little punky in some spots hence the CA glue.

Pictures hopefully by saturday of it finished.

This is pretty extreme... even *I* could see this log was spalted before I cut into it...:D
