Thought I would turn a couple of pens for the Freedom Pen Program, yesterday.

The one on the left, made from Curly Maple, is to be hand delivered to a local Guardsman who returned from Iraq, without receiving one. The other, made from Mahogany, will be sent in for distribution overseas.

Thanks for looking.:p

Very nice bruce and thanks for the work. My son who is state side treasures the pen he recieved while he was in Iraq.

Thanks from the father of an Iraqi vet.

Great job, Bruce, for an excellent cause. Any tricks to know about doing the Corian end caps?

Nice job Bruce, the Corian end caps really set the pen off! Can't wait to hear more on how you did that.

If you are interested in the process, I think I still have a copy of a tutorial I did at another site on the process I use to make my Freedom Pen blanks. I'll see if I can dig it up and if the Monitors don't mind, I'll post it here.
