I recently got my new Captive Hollowing Rig set up and had to try it out. The first photo is of my first attempt. Think I'll get a laser set up next.:( The next three are of my second try. It is 4-1/2" dia. 2-3/4" to top of collar and 5-1/4" to top of finial. Walls about 1/8" Wipe on gel poly and buffed. Thanks for looking.

Very nice, Keith. I thought someone here recently said the bowls with holes sell for more money. I guess it's not quite the same if you put the hole in it yourself, huh? ;)

Very nice Keith, That first view looks like that walnut has a little of that copper color in it.

Very nice, Keith. A wonderfully executed classic form, and that finial is quite nifty. What are the woods involved?

Between you and Travis, I'm not sure I can hope to do that well on finials.
Very nice.

Thanks for the kind words gentlemen (and Mark):) Chris, the finial is Ebony. The walnut was air dried which as I understand leaves a lot of color in the wood.
