We had a small corner in the kitchen that was ripe for some decorative piece like a demilune table. But because of the right angle intersection with the Dining Room doorway, I thought a small shelf would fit better.
I made a curved cherry shelf, and wanted to securely mount it with "invisible" fasteners. After considering many ideas, some pretty complicated, I decided to use 2.5" long pocket screws into the studs. Worked great and took all of 5 minutes.
Take care. Bob
