I've never seen one of those. Looks like a lot of different profile selections.

Very nice looking tool.
But I am not sure what the half round part with the square holes is for. My guess is that it is the part riding over the wood (sole)? Then what are the square holes used for?

your guess is good as mine, old timers did have a tendency to decorate things. The only practical use I see for the half round piece is to protect you from the cutter and the holes my be just to lighten the piece.

I am far from knowledgeable on old tools but I have never seen one of those. That must be rare or at least rareish? I have seen a few fixed blade beading tools but not this one. Looks like something I would have have to have if I found it. Very cool.
