No, not a lathe this time.
As some of you know one of our family hobbies is restoring old farm tractors. My dad retired in 94 from farming and he needed a hobby to keep him active so we found a old 1928 John Deere to start out with and it has blossomed into 12 restored tractors of various makes. Dad (in the picture just turned 81) probably does 80% of the work on these tractors and enjoys the challenge.
This is the latest "horse in the stable" a (1940's ?) Oliver 60 Standard. It runs well but is in need of some cosmetics. He had been looking for this particular tractor for quite a while and ended up finding it near our cabin up north....you never know where these things will turn up!
Thanks for looking!
