red alder sheets

Has anyone found 3/32" red alder sheets any place other than Laserbits (way to much for a 12" piece) I buy from StudioWorkshop but they say their sanders will heat up the wood too much to go that thin and the wood will warp. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
