This is some really neat wood! Nice patterns, and I love the look of it from the side. The differences between early and late wood make quite the pattern....

The smell is awesome, and it's just hard enough, and not too soft. The resin in the wood made it cut super clean with little or no tear out.

Love it, the bowl is classically simple, which lets the wood speak loudly!

The wood came from an Ebay seller in NC. I've bought a few times from this guy, and he's fair.

Wow, that's a very nice bowl. I've never seen that type of wood either. Does that come from the middle east?
