Left side is a little olivewood dish about 2 inch diameter. Oil and buffed.
Middle is Alaskan birch I got from ebay. About 8 inch X 4 inch. Oil and buffed. Right is a little oak dish from a board cut off, 2 and a half inch diameter. Oil and buffed.

I actually LOVE turning the Alaskan birch. Very little tear out. Finishes up really nice. Cuts well. Has that curley stuff going on in every piece I have done with it. I wish I could get more. Thank you all for the nice words.
