tagua nut

Anybody know of a good supplier for tagua nuts (vegtable ivory)? I am looking for some in the 1.5" to 2" range for inlay.

If you check on Google you will find several suppliers but the size you want is difficult. Maybe they grow bigger in other areas but here a 2 inch nut would be rare.

Many of the turning suppliers have them...very popular with turners for miniatures. I do agree with Jim, however...I have some "large" ones in my inventory and none are 2"...

Check Rockler, if there is one local. I purchased 8 or 9 of them a year ago, and they were all 2+ inches in size. Hadn't ever seen them that big before so I snatched as many up as they had.
