It's the same as what used to be called the 22-560/565 planer, just "rebranded". It's a decent 12.5" planer, has a cutter head lock and works well. I've been running the 22-560 for a number of years now and it's only starting to show some small signs of wear. At $200, if it's really had only minimal use...it's probably a steal. Figure about $30 for new kives in case the dude didn't take care of them and you have a very nice setup for minimal investment.

Steve,

I'm with Jim. I have the 565 model and it is an excellent machine. After a year, I am still on the original blades although the second side. Mine came with a stand and extra set of blades but at $200 even the base machine would be a good deal.

My 22-560 has been performed very well and been reliable for a little over 2 years now. The TS400 sells new for ~$300....$200 seems like a decent price.. It should still have some warranty left...if I were in your shoes, I think I'd go for it if he's respectable guy.
